Westerngrund è una comunità nel distretto di Aschaffenburg nel Regierungsbezirk della Franconia Settentrionale in Baviera, Germania, ed è membro della Verwaltungsgemeinschaft di Schöllkrippen. Dal 2013 al 2020, il centro geodetico dell'Unione Europea si trovava all'interno dei confini della comunità.
La comunità si trova nel Basso Meno bavarese. Con l'adesione della Croazia all'Unione Europea il 1° luglio 2013, il centro geodetico dell'UE si è spostato a Westerngrund. Si è trasferito di nuovo il 1° gennaio 2014, ma è rimasto all'interno dei confini della comunità. È stato allestito un sito monumentale. Il 31 gennaio 2020, a seguito del ritiro del Regno Unito dall'Unione Europea, il centro geodetico dell'Unione Europea si è spostato da Westerngrund a Gadheim, a circa ottanta chilometri di distanza.
