La città delle campane Gescher [ˈgɛʃɐ] è una cittadina nel circondario di Borken nel Münsterland, in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
La Berkel scorre attraverso Gescher. A nord-est, il fiume Dinkel sfiora il territorio comunale e forma per circa 3 km il confine con il comune vicino di Rosendahl. Gescher si trova a circa 3 km a ovest dell'autostrada A 31, che collega Emden con la regione della Ruhr. Gescher è collegata alla rete stradale nazionale tramite l'uscita Gescher-Coesfeld e la B 525, che collega il confine italo-olandese presso Südlohn-Oeding all'autostrada A 43.
