Wittlaer è un quartiere di Düsseldorf nel distretto cittadino 5 e si estende sulla riva est del Reno settentrionale, a nord di Kaiserswerth nel Nord Reno-Westfalia. Il quartiere comprende i vecchi luoghi del villaggio di Bockum, Einbrungen, Froschenteich e villaggio di Wittlaer. Il confine settentrionale del quartiere di Wittlaer costituisce anche il confine urbano di Düsseldorf con Duisburg. Fino a circa metà del XX secolo vivevano a Wittlaer anche due famiglie di pescatori del Reno, altrimenti prevalentemente contadini.
