Gadderbaum è il più piccolo quartiere della città di Bielefeld nella Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Il quartiere è soprattutto conosciuto per le istituzioni delle fondazioni von Bodelschwingh Bethel. Gadderbaum era fino al 1972 un comune autonomo nel distretto di Bielefeld.
Gadderbaum si trova ai lati del Passo di Bielefeld in una valle allungata della Foresta di Teutoburgo tra il centro città di Bielefeld e Brackwede. L'estensione WNW-OSO del quartiere è di circa cinque chilometri, mentre l'estensione NNO-SSW è di circa due chilometri, con una superficie di 8,66 chilometri quadrati. Il punto più alto con 286 m sul livello del mare si trova sul Jostberg nell'area della cresta principale della Foresta di Teutoburgo, dove i quartieri di Brackwede, Dornberg e Gadderbaum si incontrano.
