Il Ginnasio Johannes-Scharrer è un ginnasio pubblico di Norimberga, situato nelle immediate vicinanze del castello. La scuola è stata intitolata all'imprenditore e secondo sindaco di Norimberga Johannes Scharrer.
Il Ginnasio Johannes-Scharrer è stato fondato nel 1834 come scuola commerciale grazie all'iniziativa del suo mecenate e successivo omonimo Johannes Scharrer. La denominazione in onore di Scharrer è avvenuta solo nel 1965. Prima si chiamava Scuola commerciale cittadina dal 1851. Dopo la fondazione del Ginnasio Hans-Sachs e a causa dell'aumento delle tasse scolastiche, all'inizio del XX secolo il numero di studenti è diminuito, fino a quando nel 1910 la scuola è stata addirittura chiusa.
