La villa padronale di Schloss Kaarz appartiene al comune di Weitendorf nel distretto di Sternberger Seenlandschaft e forma il centro di un complesso agricolo. Si trova nel Meclemburgo-Pomerania Anteriore tra Schwerin e Güstrow. Il castello è utilizzato a scopo turistico e funge da hotel, caffè e ristorante.
La tenuta di Kaarz fu fondata nel XVII secolo. Nel 1796 venne acquistata dalla famiglia Weltzien come pegno e dal 1797 al 1814 ereditariamente. Nel 1816 Burchard Hartwig von Bülow acquistò la tenuta. Dopo la sua morte, Eduard Wilhelm von Bülow divenne proprietario nel 1849. La tenuta rimase fino al 1869 di proprietà della famiglia von Bülow. Nel 1872 fu acquistata dal mercante e armatore di Amburgo Julius Hüniken. Fece costruire l'attuale villa padronale dagli architetti Friedrich Saniter e Albrecht Becker e creò il parco.
