La chiesa di Vicelink a Neumünster si trova a sud-est del più antico nucleo abitato di Kleinflecken. Il torrentello Schwale fa un'ansa, al centro della quale si erge l'imponente edificio, simbolo della città di Neumünster. La chiesa a navata con galleria è considerata il più importante edificio religioso classicista di Schleswig-Holstein. Il progetto è stato realizzato dal direttore generale della costruzione di Copenaghen, Christian Frederik Hansen.
Durante il suo periodo di esistenza, è stata la chiesa della guarnigione del reggimento di fanteria n. 163 dello Schleswig-Holstein.
