Il lago Heidhofsee è un lago nel quartiere Kirchhellen di Bottrop e con 4,8 ettari è il secondo più grande della città. È nato dall'estrazione di sabbie silicee. Dal 1973, il Heidhofsee insieme con il Heidesee forma un'area di svago. Il lago offre, sulla sua sponda sud, prati da utilizzare per scopi turistici. Parte del lago è costituita da biotopi protetti. Heidhofsee e Heidesee sono utilizzati per la pesca sportiva.
