Il tunnel Großer Busch è un tunnel stradale lungo 275 metri dell'autostrada federale 535 nella frazione di Wuppertal Dornap. La tratta era ancora designata come strada federale 224n fino al 2008.
Fino all'apertura del tunnel nel 1990, l'autostrada terminava, provenendo dal crocevia di Sonnborner, allo svincolo Wuppertal-Dornap. La costruzione del tunnel nel 1989/90 avvenne in modalità a cielo aperto, con la creazione iniziale di una cava aperta, che fu poi riempita nuovamente. Le due gallerie del tunnel, che attraversano l'area forestale di circa 26 ettari chiamata Im Großen Busch, hanno una larghezza di 12,5 metri ciascuna. I costi di costruzione ammontarono a 22 milioni di marchi. Nell'ambito del programma di ammodernamento dei tunnel dell'agenzia stradale NRW, il tunnel dovrebbe essere aggiornato secondo i più recenti requisiti di sicurezza. I preparativi per questo sono iniziati nel 2007.
