La miniera Löwenherz è stata una ex miniera di ferro del distretto minerario di Bensberg a Forsbach. Il punto di ritrovamento si trovava nel Königsforst, a ovest dell'ex stazione ferroviaria di Forsbach.
Il 12 dicembre 1853, Friedrich Hermanni fece richiesta di una concessione per minerali di ferro sotto il nome di Rothenburg per un deposito a ovest del cosiddetto Kalkweg nel Königsforst. Per motivi non noti, seguì una seconda richiesta il 25 gennaio 1854. La concessione avvenne sotto il nome di Löwenherz il 21 agosto 1856 per minerali di ferro. Non sono disponibili ulteriori informazioni sulle attività operative. Il 14 settembre 1892, l'Associazione Löwenherz viene menzionata come proprietaria.
