Il castello di Lürken, noto anche come castello di Lurich o castello di Lürkener, era un castello d'acqua nella valle del Merzbach, situato nel centro dell'attuale località rasa al suolo di Lürken, un quartiere di Eschweiler.
Come "castrum Lureke", il castello di Lürken fu menzionato per la prima volta in documenti nel 1188. La causa fu il suo acquisto da parte del Capitolo di Colonia da parte dell'arcivescovo Filippo di Heinsberg. In seguito, la struttura fu concessa in feudo alla casa dei conti di Jülich. In seguito, Lürken apparteneva al dominio di Laurenzberg, il cui ufficio amministrativo era stato concesso ai signori di Randerath. Nel XIV e XV secolo, la signoria su Lürken e il suo castello sembrava essere nelle mani della famiglia von Kinzweiler.
