Il Gymnasium Ludwig-Leichhardt è una scuola secondaria nella città indipendente di Cottbus. Il gymnasium offre corsi di lingua giapponese e programmi di scambio scolastico con scuole in Giappone, Canada e Australia.
Su decisione del consiglio della città di Cottbus, l'edificio è stato costruito negli anni '70 durante il periodo della DDR. Nel 1975, nel blocco orientale dell'edificio, è stata inaugurata la Escuela Media Salvador Allende come 22° scuola media, mentre nel blocco occidentale la Escuela Media Pablo Neruda come 23° scuola media polivalente della città di Cottbus. Entrambe le istituzioni formavano insieme la Scuola Media Polivalente di Cottbus. Nel 1991 entrambe le scuole sono state trasformate nel quarto gymnasium di Cottbus. Una chiusura è stata evitata nel 2006.
