La Norderbootfahrt è un canale nella penisola di Eiderstedt. Il canale, costruito nel 1612, portava da Tönning all'estuario dell'Eider a Tetenbüll. Attraverso un canale di collegamento con la Süderbootfahrt era possibile raggiungere Garding e Katingsiel. La Norder- e la Süderbootfahrt collegarono l'entroterra di Eiderstedt tramite il canale aperto verso il Mare del Nord, contribuendo così soprattutto all'ascesa del porto di Tönning a diventare il porto più importante della regione.
