Schwenningdorf è una frazione del comune di Rödinghausen nel nord-est del Bundesland tedesco della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Fino al 1968 Schwenningdorf costituiva un comune autonomo nell'ufficio di Rödinghausen. Il luogo è stato menzionato per la prima volta nel 1088.
La frazione di Schwenningdorf si trova a nord di Rödinghausen, ai piedi delle colline del Wiehengebirge. La montagna più alta è il Maschberg con un'altitudine di 190 m sul livello del mare. La zona più bassa è la valle della Großen Aue a circa 80 m sul livello del mare. Schwenningdorf ha circa 2356 abitanti e un'area di 7,449 km². La valle dell'Aue e le sue valli vicine Wehmerhorster Wiesental e l'area di Schierenbeke sono protette dalla natura.
