L'Allertal tra Gifhorn e Wolfsburg è un'area protetta nella città sassone di Wolfsburg, così come nei comuni di Weyhausen e Osloß nella comunità di Boldecker Land, nel comune di Calberlah nella comunità di Isenbüttel, nel comune di Sassenburg e nella città di Gifhorn nel distretto di Gifhorn.
L'area protetta con il segno NSG BR 146 è di circa 895,1 ettari. Di questi, circa 67 ettari appartengono alla città di Wolfsburg e circa 828 ettari al distretto di Gifhorn. L'area protetta fa parte completamente dell'area FFH di 18.030 ettari "Aller, leine inferiore, Oker inferiore" e dell'area di protezione degli uccelli dell'UE "Barnbruch" di 2.112 ettari. A Wolfsburg, l'area protetta confina direttamente con l'area protetta "Barnbruch". L'area è protetta dal 1° ottobre 2014. L'area protetta "Dannenbütteler Torfteile" a est di Gifhorn è stata incorporata nella nuova area protetta. Le autorità locali competenti per la protezione della natura sono la città di Wolfsburg e il distretto di Gifhorn.
