La Kyll, pronunciata "Kill" [kʰil], è un affluente lungo 127,6 km, situato a nord e a sinistra della Mosella. Scorre - a parte tre brevi sorgenti dalla regione belga del Belgio - nei Länder tedeschi del Nordreno-Vestfalia e della Renania-Palatinato.
Il fiume attraversa, partendo dal confine della regione vallona situato vicino alla sorgente in Belgio, nei comuni tedeschi di Euskirchen e Vulkaneifel, Bitburg-Prüm, Trier-Saarburg e la città autonoma di Treviri. È uno dei fiumi più lunghi della Renania-Palatinato, poiché i fiumi molto più lunghi Mosella, Saar e Sauer sono transfrontalieri, ed è il fiume più ricco d'acqua e il più lungo dell'Eifel meridionale.
La Kyll è un corpo idrico di II grado dalla confluenza a Treviri-Ehrang fino al confine statale della Renania settentrionale-Vestfalia.
