Il Maar di Schalkenmehrener è un maar situato a circa tre chilometri a sud-est della città di Daun nell'Eifel. Adiacente si trova il paese di Schalkenmehren.
Appartiene ai cosiddetti Maar di Daun -gruppo), anche se tutti e tre i maar si trovano sul territorio di Schalkenmehren, ed è un maar doppio, composto dal maar occidentale e dal maar secco orientale. Entrambi si sono formati circa 10.500 anni fa a seguito di un'esplosione di vapore vulcanico. Il lago nella parte occidentale del maar varia nel diametro tra i 500 e i 575 m e raggiunge profondità fino a 21 m. L'altitudine del maar è di 420,8 m s.l.m. Riempie il bacino maar più giovane dei due. La parte orientale del maar è occupata da un alto molo. Il maar è un corpo idrico meromittico a causa dei suoi strati.
