Pannewitz, obersorbisch, è un luogo nel distretto di Bautzen, nella Sassonia orientale, e dal 1993 fa parte del comune di Neschwitz. Il luogo si trova nell'Alta Lusazia e appartiene all'area di insediamento sorabo.
Il luogo si trova a circa nove chilometri a nord-ovest della grande città di Bautzen e a quattro chilometri a sud del centro comunale nell'Alta Lusazia. Pannewitz si trova sul versante nord-ovest della valle dello Schwarzwasser. Verso ovest, il terreno sale di circa 50 metri in direzione di Neulauske e Guhra; il torrente che scorre a sud del paese si trova circa cinque metri più in basso rispetto al luogo.
