Langburkersdorf è un tempo un villaggio autonomo, che a partire dal 1994 apparteneva al nuovo comune di Hohwald e nel 2007 è diventato una frazione di Neustadt in Sassonia, nel distretto della Svizzera sassone-Estergebirge.
Il villaggio si unisce a Neustadt direttamente a est. Si trova tra il Hohwald e il versante settentrionale dei Monti di arenaria dell'Elba. A sud è delimitato dall'elevazione dell'Unger, a nord dal Hohwald, a ovest da Neustadt e a est dal confine statale ceco. Il Polenz e alcuni dei suoi affluenti scorrono attraverso di esso.
