Ehlen è una frazione del comune di Habichtswald nel distretto di Kassel in Assia settentrionale. Ha 2739 abitanti.
Ehlen si trova nel parco naturale di Habichtswald a circa 13,5 chilometri a ovest del centro di Kassel, tra il nucleo di Zierenberg a nord-nord-ovest, la frazione di Dörnberg a nord-est, Breitenbach a sud, Martinhagen a sud-sud-ovest e Burghasungen a ovest. A nord-est del villaggio, situato a un altitudine di circa 320 a 375 m sul livello del mare, si erge il Hohe Dörnberg, a sud-est l'Essigberg, a ovest il Burghasunger Berg e a nord-ovest il Große Bärenberg. Direttamente a ovest di Ehlen scorre in direzione sud-nord il fiume Warme. La strada federale 251 attraversa tra Burghasungen e Dörnberg; questa incrocia nel villaggio la strada statale 3220.
