Nel Münsterland ci sono davvero fenicotteri! La colonia più a nord trascorre qui il periodo di nidificazione tra marzo e luglio. La Flamingoroute passa per i più belli spazi naturali della regione di confine tedesco-olandese e si distingue per le uniche torbiere, brughiere, affascinanti villaggi e vivaci città. Ultimo ma non meno importante, il percorso costeggia le aree protette, dove sono ospitati fenicotteri, rospi delle torbiere e piante rare.
