Con un po' più di 4 km di lunghezza, questo percorso escursionistico, segnalato come Sentiero 2, è un buon inizio per la stagione delle escursioni. Poiché lungo il percorso ci sono un rifugio e il ristorante nel bosco Hasenspring, è sempre possibile fare una pausa. Si prosegue per lo più su buoni sentieri forestali. Sul Birkenweg, si torna comodamente alla fine, risalendo lungo la Bismarckstraße fino al bagno termale.
