Vera è un comune della provincia di Almería, nella comunità autonoma dell'Andalusia, in Spagna. Oggi Vera è uno dei centri commerciali più importanti della regione, con un fiorente nucleo tradizionale e diversi supermercati e organizzazioni commerciali distribuiti lungo la circonvallazione. Vera stessa si trova a circa 10 chilometri nell'entroterra dalla costa, ma il comune si estende fino al litorale. Lì è stato sviluppato un insediamento turistico, chiamato Vera Playa. Questo ora costituisce l'attività economica principale di Vera. Dal 1990, Vera Playa si è evoluta in un importante villaggio naturista.
