Falset è un comune e località spagnola della provincia di Tarragona, in Catalogna. Appartenente alla comarca del Priorato, di cui è capitale, il comune conta una popolazione di 2724 abitanti.
È stato uno dei primi luoghi a essere ripopolato dopo la riconquista. Viene già citato da Ramón Berenguer IV. Nel 1168 il castello di Falset fu consegnato a Pere de Déu, che ricevette l'incarico di ripopolarlo e di costruire una fortificazione difensiva. Il 5 maggio 1191 gli fu concessa la carta di popolazione.
