Hondarribia è un comune spagnolo di 15.044 abitanti situato nella comunità autonoma dei Paesi Baschi. È situata proprio sul confine con la Francia, separata dalla vicina Hendaye soltanto dal fiume Bidasoa che divide i due paesi.Conserva resti di mura con alcuni poderosi bastioni della seconda metà del XVI secolo fatti erigere da Vespasiano Gonzaga, il celebre condottiero italiano al servizio di Filippo II di Spagna. Di notevole interesse la chiesa gotica di Santa Maria e il Castello, oggi trasformato in albergo.
