Il monte degli Avaloirs, alto 416 metri, è il punto culminante del Massiccio armoricano e del Grande Ovest. Si trova nel dipartimento della Mayenne, al confine con quello dell'Orne, a Pré-en-Pail, nel cuore della foresta di Multonne. È la principale cima della lunga linea delle colline della Normandia e presenta l'aspetto di un plateau di brughiera e di prati magri. Il sito è incluso dal 25 settembre 2020 nella riserva naturale regionale Mont des Avaloirs.
