È il tipo di chiesa fortificata più tipico della regione di Messin. Il coro a cinque lati, con volte a crociera e costoloni, piccole finestre e oculi quadrilobati, risale al XV secolo. La navata risale al XVII secolo. Ma raramente una chiesa di campagna ha avuto una tale ricchezza di statue dal XIV al XX secolo: un San Lazzaro mitrato (XIV secolo), patrono dei mendicanti, dei poveri e dei lebbrosi, un Sant'Eloi in pietra di Jaumont (XV secolo), un San Vincenzo ligneo e un San Jean Népocumène del XVIII secolo, una Vergine con Bambino (inizio XIX secolo), un San Nicola e un San Giuseppe di uno scultore alsaziano contemporaneo. Nella sacrestia si può ammirare un Cristo in avorio del XVII secolo.
Le visite alla chiesa si effettuano solo su appuntamento.
