Intorno al 1905, lo sport cominciò a farsi strada in Francia. Nel parco termale di Vittel fu realizzato un campo da golf e le prime partite di bocce, note come "Jeu du Cochonnet".
Già nel 1922, la Société des Eaux creò magnifici campi da gioco in un boulodromo vicino alla Roseraie, guadagnandosi l'ammirazione dei boulistes francesi, svizzeri e italiani.
Ogni anno, in estate, 2 associazioni fanno rivivere il boulodromo di Vittel organizzando gare di pétanque e di bocce lionesi. Il boulodromo è liberamente accessibile nel parco per gli appassionati di un giorno o di sempre!
Il boulodromo nel parco termale è aperto a gitanti, turisti, vacanzieri e frequentatori delle terme che vogliono giocare con gli amici o la famiglia.
