Il Budapest Honvéd Football Club , noto a livello internazionale semplicemente come Honvéd , è una società polisportiva ungherese con sede a Budapest. La sua squadra di calcio milita nella Nemzeti Bajnokság I, la massima serie del campionato ungherese, a cui ha preso parte pressoché stabilmente sin dall'esordio nel 1916, eccezione fatta per la stagione 2003-04.
Il club è stato fondato nel 1909 con il nome di Kispest Athlétikai Club, mutuato da quello dell'omonimo sobborgo che si trovava appena fuori Budapest fino al 1950. Da allora, Kispest è stato inglobato dalla città e fa parte del Distretto XIX di Budapest. Quando fu fondato il club prese la forma di polisportiva ed esistevano squadre di atletica, boxe, ciclismo, ginnastica, lotta, scherma e tennis. Successivamente nacquero le divisioni di pallanuoto e pallamano.
