Chiaverano è un comune italiano di 2 039 abitanti della città metropolitana di Torino in Piemonte.
Chiaverano è situato all'estremo limite settentrionale del Canavese, nella zona morenica della Serra di Ivrea, in Piemonte. Con un territorio di circa 12 km², si sviluppa tra una quota minima di 237 metri ed una massima di 792 metri. La zona a nord confina con boschi di castagni, i vecchi terrazzamenti costituiti da muretti a secco, sono coltivati a vite.
