La val di Fassa è una valle nelle Dolomiti, situata nel Trentino nord-orientale, al confine con le province di Bolzano e Belluno. Costituisce l'alto corso del torrente Avisio, che nasce dal ghiacciaio della Marmolada. Circondata da alcuni dei più noti gruppi montuosi dolomitici, la valle è un'importante meta turistica sia invernale sia estiva. Inoltre, per la sua identità linguistica, è parte integrante della Ladinia.
