Villa Adriana fu una residenza imperiale extraurbana, fatta realizzare presso Tivoli dall'imperatore Adriano .
La struttura appare come un ricco complesso di edifici realizzati gradualmente ed estesi su una vasta area, che doveva coprire circa 120 ettari, in una zona ricca di fonti d'acqua a pochi chilometri dal centro abitato di Tibur e 17 miglia romane dall'Urbs. Nel 1999 Villa Adriana è stata dichiarata Patrimonio dell'umanità dall'UNESCO.
