La battaglia di Troina è stato un evento bellico della seconda guerra mondiale dopo lo sbarco in Sicilia, e avvenuto nell'agosto 1943, nel territorio di Troina, sui monti Nebrodi, che vide contrapposte le forze militari terrestri dell'Asse e quelle del VII armata americana.
Nell'agosto del 1943, dopo che gli Alleati erano sbarcati in Sicilia poche settimane prima, il territorio di Troina diviene campo di una storica battaglia che dal giorno 1 al 6 di agosto vede impegnati i soldati alleati, che avanzano verso Messina, a contrastare la resistenza di un nucleo di tedeschi arroccati in paese.
