L'aeroporto di Comiso , è un'infrastruttura aeronautica che sorge a 5 km dalla cittadina siciliana omonima e a 15 km da Ragusa, capoluogo della provincia. Nato come aeroporto militare, è stato riconvertito all'aviazione generale civile e cargo, venendo inserito nel piano regionale del trasporto aereo siciliano, che prevede la costituzione di due poli aeronautici: quello occidentale, costituito dagli aeroporti di Palermo e Trapani e quello orientale, rappresentato dagli scali di Catania e Comiso. L'aeroporto è stato aperto al traffico civile il 30 maggio 2013 e l'anno seguente venne intitolato a Pio La Torre.
