La Val Rosandra , situata nei pressi di Trieste tra il comune di San Dorligo della Valle e quello sloveno di Erpelle-Cosina , è una valle incisa dal torrente Rosandra .
Alcune delle sue caratteristiche, quali l'aspetto selvaggio, con rupi, ghiaioni e pareti a strapiombo, o la cascata del torrente seguita dalle forre che esso attraversa, nonché la presenza di un elevato numero di grotte, hanno reso la Val Rosandra meta di esplorazioni speleologiche, oltre che una palestra di roccia e sito di studio dei fenomeni carsici. È una delle mete più amate dagli escursionisti triestini; la principale via d'accesso per i sentieri di fondo valle è dall'abitato di Bagnoli della Rosandra .
