Piazza Cavallotti è un'area verde riqualificata che è protagonista del percorso pedonale che da Piazza dei Miracoli porta a Piazza dei Cavalieri e prosegue poi in Via Dini fino a Borgo. La piazza fu ingrandita e più verde e il percorso pedonale migliorato per invogliare pisani e turisti provenienti da Via Santa Maria ad attraversare la piazza invece di circumnavigarla come si faceva prima.
