Slenaken è un villaggio nel comune di Gulpen-Wittem nel sud del Limburgo, vicino al confine con il Belgio. Si trova in una valle attraversata dal Gulp, con a nord la Loorberg verso Epen e a sud il confine, insieme al paese belga di Teuven.
Nei mesi estivi ci sono molti turisti nella zona, anche perché la Mergellandroute passa attraverso Slenaken e il villaggio è situato in una posizione favorevole per una bella passeggiata in bicicletta.
