Il mulino di Hoogmade / La signoria è un mulino galleggiante situato a un chilometro a nord di Hoogmade. Il mulino è stato costruito nel 1897 per la drenaggio della Hoogmadesche e Piestpolder, in sostituzione di un precedente mulino fatiscente. In passato il mulino era abitato. Fino al 1962 il mulino aveva una ruota a pale. Oggi l'acqua viene sollevata con un pestello, a volte con l'aiuto di un motore elettrico nel mulino. Accanto al mulino si trova una piccola pompa.
Sul mulino c'è una banderuola con la scritta: Santo Donato, proteggici. San Donato è il protettore contro i fulmini.
