Harselaar è un villaggio nel comune olandese di Barneveld e si trova tra Barneveld e Voorthuizen.
Il nome Harselaar appare già nel XIV secolo come Hersler e potrebbe riferirsi a una laar con hers o hers. Inizialmente si riferiva a un insediamento situato più a ovest, tra l'attuale villaggio e Terschuur. In quest'area si trovava anche un bene di signori, Klein Harselaar, che è stato menzionato nel 1600.
