La Kunderberg è un punto culminante, sia letterale che figurato, nel Paese del Calcare. Le pareti di calcare svettano tra il bosco di calcare e il prato ricco di calcare è una vera attrazione per gli amanti della natura. I prati calcarei aridi sono, paradossalmente, uno dei suoli più ricchi di specie in Europa e ciò è visibile anche qui.
Nella tarda primavera le orchidee più rare sfoggiano i loro fiori eleganti. Nella bassa erba brucata dalle pecore, una flora più rara ha la possibilità di fiorire.
Dai colorati prati fioriti si gode di una vista fantastica sulle colline.
