All'ingresso del museo, si torna immediatamente indietro nel tempo. Scene caratteristiche della guerra vengono rappresentate e ricostruite in modo realistico. Il museo ha anche una impressionante collezione di oggetti militari sia delle forze occupanti che dei liberatori canadesi. Oltre agli oggetti, ci sono molte foto che illustrano l'operazione alleata nell'autunno del 1944. In quel periodo, i canadesi combatterono contro l'occupante tedesco per conquistare la foce della Westerschelde.
