Nel 1925, il Municipio di Maarn è stato progettato in stile tradizionale dall'architetto J. Pothoven. Confronta questo progetto con il municipio del comune di Woudenberg (1936). Nel 1963 e 1979 il Municipio è stato ampliato notevolmente sul retro. Per lungo tempo, nell'interrato, si trovava il commissariato di polizia. Sotto la scalinata c'erano due celle di polizia. Nel 2016, il comune di Utrechtse Heuvelrug, che ha assorbito il comune di Maarn-Maarsbergen nel 2006, ha venduto il Municipio e la proprietà è stata suddivisa in modo orizzontale. Tre parti sono ora i fieri proprietari del monumento nazionale. L'orologio della torre ha un valore monumentale.
