La passeggiata inizia presso la capanna funeraria completamente restaurata, vicino al cimitero della chiesa di Noordwijk. Un inizio piuttosto sinistro di una passeggiata altrimenti splendida. Una passeggiata che nel 1850 veniva percorsa da quelli che erano chiamati 'annunciatori di lutto'. Dalle atmosfere oscure si arriva all'Oude Diep. Un angolo di natura magnifico con una storia storica.
