La Strada Provinciale Norvegese 5627 è una strada lunga 48,6 chilometri che attraversa le montagne dell'Aurlandsfjellet. L'itinerario è stato sostituito dal Tunnel di Lærdal, lungo 24,51 chilometri, il tunnel stradale più lungo del mondo. L'arido plateau montano offre viste a 600 m sul fiordo di Aurland. È designato come una Strada Nazionale del Turismo in Norvegia.
Prima della fusione delle contee del 2020, la strada era chiamata Strada Provinciale 243, ma dopo la fusione delle contee, c'erano due strade provinciali con lo stesso numero, quindi questa è stata cambiata.
