Questa cappella del XVI secolo fu fondata dal vescovo di Lamego, D. Manuel de Noronha.
Sulla facciata esterna, nell'angolo sinistro, è visibile lo stemma di questo vescovo .
È una piccola chiesa, ma l'altare ospita uno dei tesori del Portogallo : una statua del XVIII secolo dello Spirito Santo, il cui autore è sconosciuto. Su entrambi i lati ci sono altre due pale d'altare barocche, che sottolineano il lato del Vangelo. Sono degni di nota anche il pulpito , ricoperto di doratura, e le piastrelle del XVII secolo lungo le pareti.
