Questo chiosco sulla Temple Esplanade fu costruito alla fine degli anni '20.
Tra il 1930 e il 1932 la struttura metallica fu sostituita da un affascinante complesso di otto splendide colonne di granito . Quest'opera fu resa possibile grazie ai fondi raccolti dal defunto Bernardo Sequeira. La targa che la accompagna è conservata in questo museo.
Fu proprio questo palco che fungeva da palcoscenico per le festività annuali in onore dello Spirito Santo, a ispirare gli abitanti di Braga a compiere un vivace pellegrinaggio alla montagna del Bom Jesus . Queste festività erano una delle principali attrazioni del Bom Jesus, ma caddero nell'oblio fino a scomparire dal calendario delle feste popolari di Braga. Recentemente, la confraternita del Bom Jesus ha ripreso l'antica tradizione.
