Il fiume Mun, a volte scritto fiume Moon, è un affluente del fiume Mekong. Trasporta circa 26 chilometri cubi d'acqua all'anno. Il fiume ha origine nell'area del Parco Nazionale Khao Yai della catena San Kamphaeng, vicino a Nakhon Ratchasima nel nord-est della Thailandia. Scorre verso est attraverso il plateau Khorat nel southern Isan (le province di Buriram, Surin e Sisaket) per 750 chilometri, fino a unirsi al Mekong a Khong Chiam a Ubon Ratchathani. L'affluente principale del fiume Mun è il fiume Chi, che si unisce a esso nel distretto di Kanthararom nella provincia di Sisaket. [Wikipedia]
