Het team van Laurent Ney kreeg de vraag om in de Luikse gemeente Tilff een brug over de Ourthe te leggen. Aan de ene kant liggen het dorpscentrum en de autosnelweg E25, aan de andere kant liggen voorzieningen zoals het ziekenhuis, de universiteit en het shoppingcenter. Het bureau besloot twee bruggen van 136 meter boven elkaar te leggen. De bovenste is bestemd voor het autoverkeer. Ze biedt bescherming voor het fietsverkeer dat zich een verdieping lager naar de overkant begeeft.
