De bekende zingende non, Soeur Sourire of Jeanne (Jeannine) Deckers ligt, samen met haar (lesbische) vriendin Annie Pécher, begraven op het kerkhof van Waver. Waver was ook haar geboortedorp. Ze werd zeer bekend met haar nummer "Dominique -nique -nique" De graftekst luidt J'ai vu voler son âme à travers les nuages uit "Dominique". In 2009 maakte Stijn Coninx een film van haar leven.
