Nieuwe Steenweg z.nr. Zielebrug; leidt de Nieuwe Steenweg over de Blankenbergse Vaart. Naam van de brug naar een legende over een lijkkist die op de plaats van de brug uit een bootje viel en die nooit werd teruggevonden. Eerste vermelding van de "Zielebrughe of Eevoordebrugghe" in 1541; op kaart van Ferraris (1770-1778) vermeld als "Siel Brugge". Huidige bakstenen brug is 20ste-eeuws; de oorspronkelijke houten brug werd al in 1618 vervangen door een stenen, na vernieling tijdens godsdiensttroebelen eind 16de eeuw. BOTERBERGHE R., Zuienkerke.
